Comic-Con News: Dark Knight Teaser Trailer Revealed

In a piece of breaking news from the San Diego Comic-Con, Warner Brothers Pictures has released the teaser trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to “Batman Beginsâ€?, “The Dark Knight.â€?

“The Dark Knightâ€? will see Christian Bale reprise the dual role of Bruce Wayne and Batman and will tell the story of his first encounter with the Joker, who will be played by Heath Ledger. The movie will also feature Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, a crusading District Attorney who later becomes the villain Two Face, along with Maggie Gyllenhaal, replacing Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes, Gary Oldman, reprising his role as Lieutenant James Gordon, Michael Caine as Alfred, and rumor has it Cillian Murphy has been spotted on the set to don the Scarecrow hood once again. 

While the trailer may not reveal much it certainly whets your appetite for what is without a doubt one of next summers most anticipated movies. And with that cast under the guidance of “Batman Beginsâ€? and “Mementoâ€? director Christopher Nolan, the expectations are certainly high.
