E.G. Daily [See Her Tonight on THE MENTALIST]

E.G. Daily guests on The Mentalist

(10 pm EST, CBS)

Last week started out with Pee Wee Herman (aka Paul Reubens) turning 60 years old. Now we’re going to celebrate E.G. Daily being a MILF–although you might remember her as the starry-eyed gal Dottie, who had to be assured by Pee Wee that he was too much of a rebel to ever be her boyfriend. That was back in 1985’s Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. By then, however, E.G. had already shown up in future cult classics like Valley Girl and Streets of Fire. That was back when she was billed as Elizabeth Daily. Then she became E.G. Daily and went on to an incredible career as a voice artist. She was even the voice of Tommy in the old Rugrats cartoon, and the voice of Buttercup in The Powerpuff Girls. Daily also had a brief career in ’80s pop, although she ended up as one of our 18 Acts Who Played Saturday Night Live That You Still Haven’t Heard Of. Daily has still stayed busy in music, and showed off her lasting sex appeal as a slinky hooker in Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects. (You’ll also find her in the 2006 whorehouse horror epic Mustang Sally.) It’s still a pleasant surprise to see her in our living rooms, so check out E.G. now–but first check out these pics that also cover some of her wild early days… [image via imdb]
