V for VIXEN: Hot Gals In Guy Fawkes Masks [60 Photos]

There was a time when the only Americans who knew the name of Guy Fawkes were the kids who’d just studied the guy in class. Ordinary human beings in the United States then promptly forgot about the British traitor who plotted to blow up the House of Lords back on November 5th of 1605. That would be like some modern-day terrorist planning to blow up the House of Representatives.

Anyway, Guy Fawkes was considered a horrible human being, and it’s become an English tradition to torch Guy Fawkes dummies filled with fireworks on November 5th. It’s kind of like their Fourth of July. Guy Fawkes is back in vogue, though. That’s mostly thanks to the entertainment complex at Warner Bros pictures, who released the futuristic 2005 film V for Vendetta–with a hero who styled himself after Fawkes while trying to destroy a dystopian English government. The script, we must add as proud geeks, was based on Alan Moore’scomic books from the early ’80s.

Now you can see lots of anarchists and other activists in Guy Fawkes masks. Warner Bros gets the licensing fees. Of course, we’re not going to get caught up in something as controversial as the politics of 1605. Let’s just note that most folks in Guy Fawkes masks nowadays wouldn’t really want to hang out with the real-life guy at a nightclub. (Fawkes wouldn’t approve of these sexy costumes, either.)

But we can all be united behind hot gals who wear skimpy clothes and a Guy Fawkes mask. We do not understand the motivation, but that is okay. We’re not nearly as judgmental as Guy Fawkes would be about this kind of thing. So just enjoy the strange spectacle of sexy women in bizarre masks. And then you might want to watch a really good UK monster movie called Attack The Block. It takes place on November 5th. No telling when these pics were taken, of course…
