Colorado Recreational Marijuana Sales Exceed $5 Million In First Week
New Years Day was the first day you could legally purchase marijuana in the state of Colorado, and the overall sales on that day exceeded $1 million. The state of Colorado is also tacking on a hefty 25 percent tax to these purchases, and expects to pull in an estimated $70 million annually. Perhaps New York could learn something from these mile-‘highers.’
