Fox Super Bowl Cameras Will Show Players’ Body Temperatures And The Wind

This weekend Fox will be testing out their infrared cameras at the game in Seattle between the Seahawks and the 49ers. The cameras will be able to show a player’s body heat, which I personally don’t see the practicality in. According to our friends at Extra Mustard, Eric Shanks, the Fox Sports chief operating officer, said that he also doesn’t know what story this will tell, but it might make for some cool pictures. Maybe they’re trying to prevent heat stroke on the field, or see which players are working the hardest, but either way the next few NFL games should be interesting.
