Mizzou Students Vs. Westboro Baptist Church For Michael Sam [VIDEO]

The basketball game was been University of Missouri and Tennessee, but the real action on Saturday was happening between the student population and the Westboro Baptist Church. The extremely anti-gay group–which has become infamous for its incredibly insensitive protest signs–came to the University of Missouri for the big game. They aren’t big sports fans, though. The citizens of Westboro Baptist Church were looking to protest football player Michael Sam’s recent announcement that he’s gay.
The game would be Sam’s first public appearance since coming out on February 9. Students at the University of Missouri–many of them wearing “Stand with Sam” pins–then formed a human wall to block off the extremist group. It looked like this…
