The First 11 Minutes of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" [VIDEO]

We’re still a couple of weeks away from the release of the next Captain America movie but Marvel Studios just couldn’t resist taking another chance to tease their die-hard fans. This time, they posted the first 11 minutes of the movie online.
The entire opening sequence of Captain America: The Winter Solider features appearances by Chris Evans as both mild mannered Steve Rogers and Captain America, a pre-Falcon Sam Wilson played by Anthony Mackle and the always lovely Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. The movie opens in our nation’s capital as Wilson and Rogers are getting in their morning run around the Lincoln Memorial when duty calls and Captain America and Black Widow are needed to rescue a group of hostages from a terrorist cell on a cargo ship in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

The 11-plus minute clip doesn’t reveal anything about the bulk of the movie or even what evil our hero must face down in order to keep America safe from the threat of oppressive tyranny. It’s really just designed to get you amped up for the final product’s release on April 4th and boy does it do a good job. We’re only 10 minutes into the movie and we get shots of the always hot Scarlett Johansson driving a souped-up Chevy Corvette before she starts shooting baddies in that skin tight black uniform. We get shots of Captain America fighting off a boat load of armed pirates using only the skills that bio-science gave him. What more do you need from a movie?
