‘Wurst Challenge’ has people eat 20-foot sausages for art

Last night at The Wurst Bar in Michigan, participants in a fundraising event for the FLY Children’s Art Center took on 20-foot-long bratwursts that weighed close to 6 pounds. According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, twelve competitors and hundreds of onlookers turned out for the Wurst Challenge, raising about $7,000 to benefit FLY’s Creativity Lab in Ypsilanti, a city of 19,000 that’s home to Eastern Michigan University.
