JFK Passenger Tries Smuggling Cocaine In Meat–And More Morning Links

A man arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City attempted to bring in more than seven pounds of cocaine, and the best method he could come up with was to jam it into chunks of frozen meat. According to our friends over at The Huffington Post, officials found three packages of frozen meat in the man’s luggage after he had come into the country on a flight from Trinidad. The white powder that they found has tested positive for cocaine and the man is now facing federal drug smuggling charges. Ahh, nothing like a nice success story to kick off your Tuesday morning, eh?
