It’s National Homebrew day! But in case you cannot find someone who is the Walter White of wort and yeast, these are some of my all-time favorite beers I have reviewed for COED.com! Crack one open and toast to the men and women who help us not feel so many feelings…
Stone Brewing Go To IPA – IPA 4.5% ABV
An awesome session IPA that is low in ABV but packed with flavor and bitterness! A great all-day drinking IPA!
21st Amendment Brewing Brew Free or Die IPA – IPA 7.0% ABV
A brew to help celebrate Repeal day! Love this beer’s hop presence!
Greenman Brewing Harvester Autumn Ale – Märzen 6.0% ABV
A brew with great malt flavor and a touch of hops but one that does not have much bitterness!
Anchorsteam Brewing Breckle’s Brown Ale – Amber / Brown 6.0% ABV
One of my favorites because of this beer’s complex flavor profiles; every time I drink one I notice something different. I love the caramel sweetness that is in every sip.
Rogue Brewing Hazelnut Brown Nectar – Brown 6.2% ABV
Coffee, nuts, malt, earthiness and awesome brew – ‘Nuff said.
Lonerider Sweet Josie Brown Ale – Brown 6.1% ABV
Sweet Josie might be the most drinkable year-round brown ale on the market because of its balance. A beer that I can drink a lot of any time!
Beer Army Heroes Never Die IPA – IPA 6.5% ABV
An incredibly drinkable IPA for hopheads and beginning IPA lovers, citrus and floral flavors make Heroes a perfect summer brew!
Green Flash Brewing West Coast IPA – IPA 7.3% ABV
High ABV, huge citrus and earthy pine flavors and a bitterness at the end that lingers long after the sip. Everything that a West Coast IPA should be!
Bell’s Brewing Hopslam – IPA 10.0% ABV
Everything about this beer is big:, big hop flavor, lasting bitterness, and high ABV. I almost wish it was lower so I could drink more! One of the brews I look forward to drinking the most!
Founders Brewing Breakfast Stout – Stout 8.3% ABV
A brew with a smoky coffee aroma and flavor profile that is surprisingly well balanced; the light chocolate taste on the backend is equally nice.
