Portland Trail Blazers Found This Snake In Their Locker Room

The Portland Trail Blazers made it to the AT&T Center Thursday for Game 2 of their NBA playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs, and found a big surprise. There was a rattlesnake in the locker room. That (understandably enough) sent players like Thomas Robinson–who found the snake in his locker–into a bit of a panic. It was determined later that the snake wasn’t poisonous, and the players weren’t in any real danger. Which, you know, makes all this perfectly normal.
The snake was around 18 inches long, and probably was a baby. The thing was still  plenty big enough for the Portland players. They weren’t too pleased on what happened, but the snake was corralled and safely released back into the wild. After having its pic shared via Twitter, of course.
There’s no clue on how the snake got into the locker room in the first place, but someone needs to look into that. Portland, meanwhile, lost 114-97 to fall behind 2-0 in the series after the incident. Hopefully, they can go home now and not find anything in the locker room. That should help them play better in Game 3.
